Dinek

Dinek is a neighborhood located within the municipality and district of Mihalıççık in the Eskişehir Province of Turkey. It is situated approximately 23 kilometres (14 miles) from the center of Mihalıççık and lies to the south of the Sarıyar and Gökçekaya dam reservoirs.

Historically, Dinek held the status of a town (belde) until it was reorganized in 2013. As of 2022, the neighborhood has a population of 195 residents, having experienced significant population decline due to migration to urban centers. The local population is descended from the Chepni tribe of Turkmens, who migrated from Greater Khorasan during the 15th century.
