Akşehir is a municipality and district located in the Konya Province of Turkey. Covering an area of 895 km² (346 sq mi), the district has a population of 93,965 as of 2022.
The location was historically known by the name Philomelium. It serves as a significant administrative and residential center within the Konya region.
