Batıkent is a suburban residential district located in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara, Turkey. Situated approximately 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) west of the city center, it serves as Ankara's largest suburb.
The area has a population of roughly 200,000 people, primarily consisting of middle-class families. It is a well-known residential hub for government workers and students. The local architecture is characterized by a mix of apartment buildings as well as semi-detached and detached houses.
