Yerköy is a town located in the Yozgat Province of Turkey's Central Anatolia region. It serves as the administrative seat of the Yerköy District.
The town sits at an elevation of 771 meters (2,530 feet) above sea level. As of 2022, its population was recorded at 27,084. The local government is currently led by Mayor Fatih Arslan of the Justice and Development Party.
