Çekerek is a town situated in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Çekerek District within the Yozgat Province.
Located in the northeastern part of the province, the town is positioned approximately 90 km from the city of Yozgat. As of 2022, the population of Çekerek was recorded at 9,471 residents.
