Harran is a municipality and district located in the Şanlıurfa Province of Turkey. The area covers approximately 904 square kilometers and had a population of 96,072 as of 2022.
Geographically, Harran is situated roughly 40 kilometres southeast of Urfa and 20 kilometres from the Akçakale border crossing with Syria.
