Araklı is a municipality and district located within the Trabzon Province of Turkey. Covering a total area of 464 km2, the district has a recorded population of 48,581 as of 2022. The local government is currently led by Mayor Recep Çebi.
The name "Araklı" is believed to be derived from the Turkish term "Arakale," which translates to "the castle in the middle."
