Akçaabat is a municipality and district located in the Trabzon Province of Turkey. Situated on the coast of the Black Sea to the west of the city of Trabzon, the district covers an area of 375 km² and has a population of 129,290 as of 2022. The town sits at a low elevation of ten metres above sea level.
The coastal town is recognized for several cultural and culinary landmarks, including the local soccer team Akçaabat Sebatspor and the traditional dish known as Akçaabat köfte. It is also home to the Akçaabat Horonu dance. Since 1990, the area has hosted an international folklore festival and served as a venue for archery and athletics competitions during the First Black Sea Games in 2007.
