Adapazarı is a municipality and the capital district of Sakarya Province in Turkey. The district covers an area of 324 km² and served as a primary administrative center for the region.
As of 2022, the population of Adapazarı was recorded at 281,489. Geographically, the municipality encompasses the central and northern portions of the Adapazarı agglomeration along with its surrounding countryside.
