Kalkandere is a town located in the Rize Province within the Black Sea region of Turkey. Situated to the west of the city of Rize, it serves as the administrative seat of the Kalkandere District.
As of 2021, the town has a population of 6,871 residents. It is characterized by its geographic position in the eastern portion of the province near the coastal region.
