Akkuş is a municipality and district located in the Ordu Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 697 km² and has a recorded population of 21,258 as of 2022.
The town is situated at an elevation of 1,313 meters (4,308 feet) above sea level. It serves as a primary administrative and residential center within its region of the province.
