Nevşehir is a city located in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat for both Nevşehir Province and Nevşehir District. As of 2024, the city has a population of 128,290.
The city is situated approximately 290 km (180 mi) from the Turkish capital, Ankara, and lies within the historical region of Cappadocia. Additionally, Nevşehir was designated as a World Peace City by the United Nations.
