Hacıbektaş is a town and district located in the Nevşehir Province of Turkey's Central Anatolia region. Situated within the Cappadocia area at an elevation of 1,275 meters (4,183 ft), it serves as the administrative seat of the Hacıbektaş District.
The town derives its name from Haji Bektash Veli, a prominent 13th-century Sufi saint who founded the Bektashi Order. As of 2022, the population of the town is recorded at 5,325 residents.
