Derinkuyu is a town located in the Nevşehir Province within the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Derinkuyu District and sits at an elevation of 1,333 meters (4,373 feet) above sea level.
As of 2022, the town has a recorded population of 10,912 residents. It is situated in a region characterized by its inland geography in the heart of the Anatolian plateau.
