Varto is a town located in the Muş Province of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Varto District.
As of the 2024 population census, the total population of the district is 29,174. In the 2024 Turkish Local Elections, Varto was elected by the DEM Party, with Giyasettin Aydemir serving as the mayor.
