Ortaca is a municipality and district located in the Muğla Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 285 square kilometers and had a recorded population of 54,478 as of 2022.
The region was formerly a township belonging to the Köyceğiz district before it was established as an independent district in 1987. It serves as a distinct administrative entity within the province.
