Fethiye is a municipality and district located within the Muğla Province of Turkey. Covering an area of 875 km2, the region had a population of 177,702 as of 2022. Historically, the area was known by the names Makri and Meğri.
The city is recognized as one of the prominent tourist destinations along the Turkish Riviera. It serves as a significant coastal hub in the southwestern part of the country.
