Afşin is a municipality and district located within the Kahramanmaraş Province of Turkey. The district covers a total area of 1,502 square kilometers and had a recorded population of 80,044 as of 2022.
The region is historically significant as the site of the ancient town of Arabissus. It serves as a primary administrative and residential center for its surrounding area in southeastern Turkey.
