Darende is a municipality and district located in the Malatya Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 1,482 km² and had a recorded population of 24,588 as of 2022.
The district is situated approximately 74 kilometres northwest of Malatya, 140 kilometres south of Sivas, and 180 kilometres east of Kayseri.
