Kütahya is a city located in western Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat for both Kütahya Province and Kütahya District, situated at an elevation of 969 metres above sea level along the Porsuk River.

The region is characterized by large areas of gentle slopes containing agricultural land, which transition into high mountain ridges to the north and west. As of 2022, the city has a population of 263,863.
