Kandıra is a municipality and district located in the Kocaeli Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 840 km2 and had a recorded population of 52,874 as of 2022.
The district is bordered by several neighboring areas, including Kaynarca to the east, Adapazarı to the southeast, İzmit to the south, and Şile to the west.
