Hanönü, also known as Gökçeağaç, is a town located in the Kastamonu Province within the Black Sea region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Hanönü District.
The town is situated at an elevation of 508 meters (1,667 feet). As of 2021, the population of the area was recorded at 2,111 residents.
