Daday is a town situated in the Kastamonu Province within the Black Sea region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Daday District and is located approximately 30 km west of the city of Kastamonu.

The town sits at an elevation of 886 meters (2,907 ft) in a valley along a small river. The surrounding terrain is primarily mountainous and characterized by extensive pine tree coverage. As of 2021, the population of the town was recorded at 2,825.
