Azdavay is a town located in the Kastamonu Province within the Black Sea region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Azdavay District and is situated approximately 74 km northwest of the provincial center, Kastamonu.
The town sits at an elevation of 855 meters (2,805 ft) above sea level. As of 2021, the population of Azdavay was recorded as 3,227 residents.
