Seferihisar is a municipality and district located in the İzmir Province of Turkey. Situated at an altitude of 28 meters, the town center lies slightly inland while its urban area extends toward the Aegean Sea. The district covers an area of 375 km² and borders the districts of Urla to the west, Menderes to the east, and Güzelbahçe to the north. It is located approximately 45 km from the center of İzmir.
The region is characterized by a mix of rural landscapes and pleasant resort areas typical of the Aegean coast. While its economy is primarily based on agriculture—specifically the production of tangerines and satsumas—it is increasingly focused on tourism. The neighborhood of Sığacık serves as a notable tourism resort with its own port, and the district attracts many pensioners and vacationers seeking a quiet atmosphere. Additionally, Seferihisar is home to the ancient city of Teos, which remains a site of archaeological interest.
