Gaziemir

Gaziemir is a municipality and district located in the İzmir Province of Turkey. It covers an area of 70 km2 and had a recorded population of 137,754 as of 2022. The district is situated to the south of central İzmir (Konak) along the road leading into the city.

The region serves as a significant hub for transportation and industry. It contains the İzmir Adnan Menderes International Airport and houses the Aegean Free Zone export processing industrial park. Additionally, the area is home to Space Camp Turkey, which is recognized as the third space camp in the world.
