Birgi is a neighborhood located within the district of Ödemiş in the İzmir Province of Turkey. As of 2022, the area has a population of 1,832 residents. Prior to a reorganization in 2013, Birgi held the status of a town (belde).
The name Birgi is a Turkified version of Pyrgion, which was its medieval Greek name. The location serves as a historical site with roots dating back to antiquity.
