Zeytinburnu is a municipality and district located in the Istanbul Province of Turkey. Situated on the European side of the city, it occupies an area of 12 km2 and had a population of 292,616 as of 2022.
The district is characterized as a working-class area situated along the shore of the Marmara Sea. Geographically, it lies just outside the walls of the ancient city and beyond the fortress of Yedikule.
