Sultangazi is a municipality and district located within the Istanbul Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 37 km2 and had a recorded population of 542,531 in 2022.
The district is bordered by several other neighborhoods, including Esenler and Başakşehir to the west, Gaziosmanpaşa to the south, and Eyüpsultan to the north and east. One of its geographical boundaries is defined by the TEM highway.
