Küçükçekmece is a municipality and district located in the Istanbul Province of Turkey. Situated on the European shore of the Sea of Marmara, it lies approximately 23 kilometers west of Istanbul's city center. The district covers an area of 44 km2.
The area is notable for its proximity to Lake Küçükçekmece and serves as one of the most significant residential areas in the region. As of 2024, it has a population of 789,033, making it the second most populous district in Istanbul.
