Esenyurt is a municipality and district located in the Istanbul Province of Turkey. Situated on the European side of the city, it covers a total area of 43 km2. As of 2022, the district has a population of 983,571 residents.
The geography of Esenyurt is defined by its proximity to several neighboring districts and landmarks. It borders Avcılar and Lake Küçükçekmece to the east, while Büyükçekmece lies to the west. To the north, it is bordered by Başakşehir, Arnavutköy, and the TEM road, and it meets Beylikdüzü and the E-5 motorway to the south.
