Ataşehir is a municipality and district located on the Anatolian (Asian) side of Istanbul, Turkey. It covers an area of 25 km² and had a recorded population of 423,127 in 2022.
The district is situated at the junction of the O-2 and O-4 motorways. It shares borders with several neighboring districts, including Ümraniye to the north, Sancaktepe to the northeast, Maltepe to the east, Kadıköy to the south, and Üsküdar to the west.
