Isparta is a city located in western Turkey that serves as the seat of both Isparta Province and Isparta District. Situated at an elevation of 1,035 meters, the city has a population of 247,580 as of 2022. It is widely recognized by the nickname "City of Roses."
The city is well-connected to other regions via road networks, with Antalya located 130 km to the south and Eskişehir situated 350 km to the north. In recent years, the presence of Süleyman Demirel University has introduced a diverse population of students to the city's predominantly conservative social fabric.
Isparta is also home to the football club Isparta 32 Spor, which was founded in 1976. The team competes in the TFF Second League and plays its home matches at the 4,345-seat Isparta Atatürk City Stadium, where it features the colors green and pink.
