Yavuzkemal is a town (belde) located in the Dereli District of Giresun Province, Turkey. It is situated to the west of the Aksu River and is characterized as a dispersed settlement, which is typical for the Black Sea region. The town is positioned approximately 20 kilometres from Dereli and 64 kilometres from the city of Giresun.
The settlement was founded in the 14th century by a Turkmen tribe known as Kırık and was formerly named Nahiye'i Kırık. Historical records from the Ottoman Empire indicate that the population decreased in 1485, likely due to the relocation of residents to the then-newly conquered city of Trabzon. Yavuzkemal was officially declared a seat of township in 1998 and had a recorded population of 2,361 as of 2022.
