Alucra is a town located in the Giresun Province within the Black Sea region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Alucra District and is situated approximately 130 kilometers (81 miles) from the city of Giresun.
As of 2022, the town has a population of 3,945 residents. Historically, Alucra was part of the Şebinkarahisar province between the years 1924 and 1933.
