Tortum is a municipality and district located in the Erzurum Province of Turkey. It covers a total land area of 1,463 square kilometers.
As of 2022, the district has a population of 15,259 residents. The current mayor of Tortum is Muammer Yiğider, who represents the Justice and Development Party (AKP).
