Hınıs is a municipality and district located in the Erzurum Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 1,367 km² and had a recorded population of 24,680 as of 2022. The town is primarily populated by Kurds.
The district features several historical monuments, most notably its castle and the Ulu Cami Mosque. The mosque is reported to have been constructed in 1734 by Alaeddin, who served as the bey of Muş.
