The Göksu River is a waterway located on the Taşeli Plateau in southern Turkey. In antiquity, the river was known as the Calycadnus, while during the Middle Ages, it was referred to as the Saleph.
The river originates from two separate sources within the Taurus Mountains: the northern source is located in the Geyik Mountains and the southern source is in the Haydar Mountains. These streams meet south of Mut before flowing southward toward the Göksu Delta, where they empty into the Mediterranean Sea near Silifke.
