While there is a historical entity known as CINAR Films Inc., it was not a geographical location but rather a Canadian animation studio and media production company based in Montreal. Established in 1976, the company specialized in children's entertainment and held a significant share of the Canadian children's television market by 1999 before being folded into WildBrain in 2014.
