Tavas is a municipality and district located in the Denizli Province of Turkey. Situated on a wide plain along the road leading to Muğla, it lies in close proximity to the district of Kale.
The district covers a total area of 1,432 square kilometers. As of 2022, Tavas has a recorded population of 41,712 residents.
