Babadag, formerly known as Babatag, is a town situated in Tulcea County, Romania. It is located within the densely wooded highlands of Northern Dobruja and sits on a small lake formed by the river Taița.
The town is notable for containing one of the several tombs of Sari Saltik. While it shares a name with a city in Turkey, this specific location is defined by its geographical position in the Romanian highlands.
