Boğazkale is a town located in the Çorum Province within the Black Sea region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Boğazkale District and is situated approximately 87 kilometres (54 mi) from the city of Çorum. The town is positioned in a rural area along the road connecting Çorum to Yozgat.
The population of the town was recorded at 1,203 in 2022. Historically known by various names including Boğazköy, Boghaz Keui, and Boghazköy, the settlement is currently organized into four distinct quarters: Yekbas, Çarşı, Hattusas, and Hisar.
