Gelibolu is a town located in the Çanakkale Province of Turkey's Marmara region. Situated in Eastern Thrace within the European part of the country, it serves as the seat of the Gelibolu District.
The town is positioned on the southern shore of the peninsula that bears its name along the Dardanelles strait. It sits approximately 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Lapseki on the opposite shore. As of 2021, the population of Gelibolu was 31,782.
