Mudanya

Mudanya is a municipality and district located within the Bursa Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 369 km2 and had a recorded population of 108,011 in 2022. The town is situated on the Gulf of Gemlik along the southern coast of the Sea of Marmara.

Historically, Mudanya was connected to Bursa via the Mudanya–Bursa railway between 1875 and 1948. The area features a pier utilized by cargo and local fishing boats, though it possesses only an open anchorage that is usable during calm weather conditions. Additionally, the region is known for its production of olive oil.
