Gemlik is a municipality and district located in the Bursa Province of Turkey. Situated in the eastern portion of the Gulf of Gemlik, the area covers approximately 401 km2 and has a population of 124,400 as of 2025.
The town is positioned roughly 29 km (18 mi) away from the city of Bursa. Historically, the location served as the site of Cius, an ancient Greek town.
