Ahlat is a town located in the Bitlis Province of Turkey, situated within the Eastern Anatolia region. It serves as the administrative seat of the Ahlat District and is positioned on the northwestern shore of Lake Van.
As of 2021, the town had a recorded population of 27,563. The current mayor of Ahlat is Abdulalim Mümtaz Çoban, who represents the AKP.
