Manyas is a municipality and district located in the Balıkesir Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 634 square kilometers and had a recorded population of 18,066 as of 2022. The district is currently governed by Mayor Tancan Barçın of the CHP.
The region is notable for its natural landmarks, specifically housing parts of the Kuşcenneti National Park and the important bird area known as Lake Kuş.
