Dursunbey, formerly known as Balat, is a municipality and district located in the Balıkesir Province of Turkey. It covers a total area of 1,719 square kilometers and had a recorded population of 33,333 as of 2022.
The district is currently governed by Mayor Ramazan Bahçavan of the AKP. Dursunbey is primarily noted for its production of wood and apples.
