Bandırma is a city, municipality, and district situated in the Balıkesir Province of northwestern Turkey. Covering an area of 755 km2, it has a population of 167,363 as of 2024.
The city is located in the south of the Marmara Sea within Bandırma Bay. It serves as an important port city and is situated approximately two hours away from the major urban centers of Istanbul, İzmir, and Bursa.
