Hopa is a town located in the Artvin Province in northeast Turkey. Situated on the eastern coast of the Black Sea, it serves as the administrative seat of the Hopa District.
The town is positioned approximately 67 kilometers from the city of Artvin and lies just 18 kilometers away from the border with Georgia. As of 2021, the population of Hopa was recorded at 23,846.
